From the 16th to the 19th October 2012 in Essaouira (Morocco) it will take place the Social Tourism World Conference “Social Tourism: a vision that benefits all citizens” organized by International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO), in collaboration with the Moroccan authorities. This is a conference held every two years but the first time in its 50 years of existence that ISTO has organized a conference in an African country.

There will be in particular a session for the development of the European Social Tourism Platform - STEEP project. This project aims to develop and implement a platform linking the demand and the supply for accommodation and tourism products within the different Calypso target groups (one target group is seniors and people with disabilities).
